A home is essentially a place where we shelter from the heat and the cold air during the rainy season. It is also a place to rest after engaging in various activities outside the house. Therefore, everyone surely desires a sturdy, comfortable, and safe house.

However, not everyone can have a proper home. Like families living in remote villages. Many of them have to live in houses that are almost collapsing, with roofs that are holed and leaking, and walls made only of old woven boards eaten by termites.
One such story is from the family of Mrs. Janah*, who hopes that one day the house she lives in with her husband and four children can be rebuilt to be sturdier. Because every time it rains, the roof leaks and is easily damaged when strong winds come.

"My house is in a terrible shape, with many holes patched up with old boards," said Mrs. Janah* when we visited her home. Let's come together to help underprivileged families living in remote villages have proper homes so they can shelter safely with their families.
