The NorthCape Ride is a world-class cycling challenge that takes riders from Central Europe all the way to Nordkapp, Norway — the very top of the European continent. Our team is taking on this epic journey to raise awareness and funds for education programs supported by Human Initiative Europe.

History of Human Initiative

Since its establishment in 1999, Human Initiative has become one of the leading humanitarian organizations addressing various issues, from natural disasters to economic empowerment programs. Human Initiative Europe, founded in 2024, focuses on bridging the Indonesian diaspora community in Europe with humanitarian needs in Indonesia and supporting infrastructure projects such as mosque construction in Europe. Unlike the original Human Initiative, which operates in Indonesia, the European branch is more oriented towards cross-border collaboration, especially for the diaspora. The presence of Human Initiative Europe expands this mission to a global level, focusing on the unique needs of the Indonesian community in Europe.

Realizing Care Through Solutions

To realize the vision and mission of the organization, our program focus consists of four main pillars:

  • INITIATIVE FOR CHILDREN

    A program for children in need with the primary goal of fulfilling the 10 Rights of the Child based on the United Nations (UN) Convention of 1989.

  • INITIATIVE FOR EMPOWERMENT

    A program aimed at building human resources and systems to improve the quality of life in a sustainable manner.

  • INITIATIVE FOR DISASTER

    A program aimed at building community resilience to disasters and climate change.

  • INITIATIVE FOR INFRASTRUCTURE

    A program aimed at opening access to improve the quality of life for the community.
