The skies over Kalimantan are once again covered in thick haze as forest and land fires spread across several provinces. The air is becoming increasingly hazardous, visibility is declining, and thousands of people (especially children, older people, and other vulnerable groups) re facing breathing difficulties and a growing risk of respiratory illness.

On the ground, dense smoke and limited access to water in peatland areas have not stopped response teams from continuing to deliver assistance and protection to affected communities. But they cannot do it alone. Our collective support can bring renewed strength to those affected.
